Turf Business appoints Lisa Crowther as Editor
With our well-regarded Managing Editor Mervyn Barnard stepping down from his day-to-day involvement, Lisa Crowther has joined the team to help edit Turf Business. To begin with, Lisa will be editing the magazine under Mervyn’s guidance to guarantee a smooth transition, as she says:
“I’m delighted to be joining Turf Business as an Editor and am grateful to have Mervyn’s support during this transitional phase. I’m excited about the opportunities that lie ahead on what is relatively new ground for me and I’m looking forward to learning more about turf and to becoming part of such a down-to-earth (no pun intended) and welcoming team.”
Lisa previously worked in the UAE as an Editor across a range of sectors and was really happy to return to the UK earlier in the year: “As I recently relocated back to the UK from the desert (or ‘sandpit’ as expats affectionately called it), I’m all the more enthusiastic about ground-keeping, green-keeping and grass in general! I’m also a keen tennis player and am forced to support Newcastle United through marriage and Brighton football club by virtue of where I now live.”
Martin Smart, Publisher of Turf Business, adds: “I am delighted that Lisa has decided to join us. Lisa’s wealth of experience along with a fresh viewpoint will be extremely valuable at what is a very important time for Turf Business with a number of new and exciting projects launching in the next few weeks and months.”
Turf Business delivers all the latest industry news, events and features and will continue to build on its existing success across its print and digital platforms.
