Grasscutting and debris clearance machinery
The successful range of SCAG mowers continues to impress; their ruggedness and dependability are the basis of their popularity.
They go from the belt-drive 32” SW through a whole range of pedestrian zero-turns, including the increasingly popular V-Ride stand-on. There is then a range of seven zero-turn ride-ons, from the high-end domestic Liberty Z, through the professional Freedom Z, Patriot, Tiger Cat, and Cheetah to the top-of–the-range Turf Tiger machines.
STM Co Ltd also handle the SCAG “Giant Vac” range of leaf and debris maintenance machinery. The range goes from the cyclone blower style pull along machines – to static nozzle operated machines with directional discharge chutes.
Giant Vac cyclones come in three models:
- Classic [5.7HP and 1392 cfm output]
- Extreme [9HP and 2293 cfm output]
- Extreme Pro [11.7HP and 2824 cfm output]
These come with dual-direction discharge nozzle, which is operable from the handlebar on the Extreme and Extreme Pro models.
The static machines consist of a truck-mounted unit – TLS, or trailed units, TL20W and TLB25.
- TLS: Two models, 18HP [3075 cfm] or 29HP [4680 cfm]
- TL20W: 26.5 or 29HP version, with 4680 cfm output
- TLB25: Three models, 35HP [6781cfm], 37HP [6909 cfm] and 48HP [7318 cfm].
With all the static machines there are large diameter collection hoses with support frames and wire re-inforcement on the TLW and TLB. They also all feature positional discharge towers, and flexible discharge tube for final positioning of the output.
