Paul makes headlines for space-age office
Paul Burgess, Director of Grounds and Environment at the world-renowned Real Madrid Football Club, has made headlines this week in the Spanish press for his new office space.
Compared to the ‘control console on the deck of the Star Trek Enterprise’, Paul is settling in well to his new office, which is well-equipped for his challenging role presiding over Real Madrid’s famous footballing grounds.
Located at the Club’s impressive training grounds in Valdebebas, Burgess is able to monitor the status of all the club pitches in real time thanks to six computer screens and a television. In such a prime office position and with the technology and advanced computers at his service, Paul is well placed to monitor both Santiago Bernabéu’s brilliant hybrid turf as well as maintain perfect pitch conditions at the famous Alfredo di Stéfano.
