Shaping the future of turfcare
Forget the World Cup or Wimbledon tickets, invites are currently being delivered to 50 professional turfcare delegates to our first Turf Business Summit this October.
The Summit’s main aim is to facilitate discussions during the event and to make a difference which is why setting the right agenda is so vital and continues to take shape. The Summit’s focus is to highlight what really matters to turfcare professionals and how going forward, this annual event can spark change across the industry as a whole.
Win a place at the Summit
In collaboration with Research Engine leading up to the Summit, Turf Business has created a pan-industry survey to help us finalise the Summit’s agenda. We have deliberately reached out to industry professionals, asking you to identify the most relevant topics, as Christopher Horne, Research Engine Director, explains: “Our ‘State of the Nation’ survey is directed at the turfcare sector because we want to find out what is important and what are the challenges and issues they face today.”
For your chance to win a coveted place at the event, all you have to do is take part in our industry-wide survey, look out for the survey on our websites and make your mark on the turfcare industry.
Asking delegates to make a difference
The Summit will provide a platform that generates such changes. By opening up debates, our delegates and sponsors can also strive to resolve them, as Turf Business, Martin Smart explains: “Turf Business is extremely excited about what the Summit can do to help shape the industry. It is up to the delegates to decide where the focus needs to be for change. Once we have identified these issues and discussed them, we hope the Summit turns these issues into meaningful and decisive actions to inspire positive growth in grounds care.”
The highly-anticipated Summit has been welcomed across the industry which Martin is thrilled with, as he acknowledges: “We certainly feel that given the reaction to the announcement of our Summit that it will become a regular fixture on the turf-care calendar. Turf Business are looking forward to joining both our sponsors and delegates in Madrid and I would like to thank Paul Burgess at Real Madrid for all his efforts in organising and finalising this event.”
Online now – a dedicated Summit site
Turf Business were delighted with the launch of their dedicated Turf Business Summit website ahead of the event. The new site, www.turfbusinesssummit.co.uk, has been live for a few weeks now and provides ongoing coverage leading up to what will be a first event of its kind for the industry.
The Summit website is an important site for delegates, sponsors and any interested parties who are keen to learn more about the Summit’s main focus and framework. As well as practical information on the dates, timings, location and accommodation, the site lists all the latest Summit news, agenda and details of sponsors.
Describing the launch of the new site, Turf Business Editor, Lisa Crowther says: “Our dedicated website will provide delegates and industry members with all the key information about this event, including the Summit’s agenda, itinerary, up-to-date news and sponsor details. Launching the website is an important part of organising this unprecedented event. It provides a useful and informative site with practical information as well as a summary of what the Summit is all about as well as a finalised agenda that has been carefully considered and put in place.”
The website will offer turf-care professionals, from all corners of the industry, up-to-date information on the Summit highlighting its aim, agenda and how the event intends to make a difference, with the help of industry members, today and in the future, as Lisa adds: “Going forward, the site will be an interactive platform for news during and after the Summit. It will also be a permanent channel for highlighting the outcomes of the first Summit, such as what topics the delegates discussed and how, this one and future Summits can help shape the industry.”
The launch of the website coincided with the invitations being extended to delegates, with a confirmation reservations page and delegate-only login instructions. If an invite has landed in your inbox then we look forward to receiving your confirmed booking on the new website.
