Lely’s Toro Team Leads The Way With Lta3 Training
Here’s Toro golf and fine turf machinery distributor Lely UK congratulating the latest members of the Toro team to attain the coveted Landbased Technician Accreditation (LTA) Level 3 training.

Clive Pinnock and Richard Salih from Lely’s own service and training department have recently achieved the LTA3 qualification, which recognises and develops the diagnostic and technical abilities of engineers together with their customer service and technical mentoring skills. Dealers Andrew Ward and Sean Cunliffe from John Shaw Machinery have also qualified as LTA3 engineers.
Lely’s service and training manager David Jackman says it’s terrific to see members of staff and dealers alike striving to progress up through the manufacturer-backed LTA scheme, which aims to provide a nationwide means of benchmarking, monitoring and assessing the competence of technicians working in turf machinery engineering.
“Once again, Lely is leading the way in encouraging staff and its dealer network to climb the training ladder,” he comments. “This third-level manufacturer training reflects Clive, Richard, Andrew and Sean’s product expertise together with their ability to provide excellent customer service – which is great news for Toro customers. Congratulations to them – we hope to congratulate others in the near future.”
