16 Jan 2008

Scotts’ BTME offering includes the launch of a new generation spray pattern indicator, plus a strong focus on its comprehensive range of proven turf fertilizers for golf, sports and landscaping applications.

Turf Mark Extra
This is the latest generation of spray pattern indicators for use with herbicides, fungicides and liquid fertilizers. It contains a distinctive blue dye which makes spraying more accurate, and therefore reduces wastage, by clearly showing the spray pattern and any overlapped or missed areas. It also highlights the problem of spray drift and identifies any leaks in the equipment.

The new Turf Mark Extra has the addition of a buffer to help stabilise the pH of the spraying solution, plus an anti-drift agent.

Turf fertilizers
Scotts’ wide range of turf fertilizers is playing a key role at BTME. They include:

SierrablenPlus – long-lasting fertilizers which guarantee a more even colour and prolonged grass growth without the need for regular supplementary feeding. Scotts will be giving visitors a special SierrablenPlus energy drink to highlight the fertilizer’s positioning as ‘the turf energy product’.

Sierraform GT – the most powerful and well-balanced fertilizers available for golf greens. Sierraform GT contains both slow-release nitrogen and slow-release potassium, which create a unique dual effect of even plant growth and more resilient turf.

Greenmaster – the extensive Greenmaster range includes Greenmaster Organics, a mix of organic and natural ingredients guaranteed free from disease, weeds or other contamination. Also featured are Greenmaster Liquid fertilizers, which provide turf managers with the most advanced nutrition system, thanks to a powerful nutrient uptake activator called TMax.
