The Parc Golf Club, situated on the coast between Cardiff and Newport in South Wales, has recently added six new E-Z-GO golf cars to its growing fleet.

Terry Hicks, Managing Director of the family-run business, began his golf operation in 1988 when he opened a small driving range, which was quickly enhanced with a 9-hole golf course. A Clubhouse followed, then a further 9 holes were added to provide a par 69, 18-hole course that challenges all levels of golfer.

Today, The Parc is a thriving golf complex with a 36-bay driving range featuring an automated teeing system, a teaching staff of three professionals and a Pro Shop stocked with top quality equipment.

Terry’s son Carl is the Course Manager and is responsible for all course related matters. Commenting on the new buggies he said, “We originally operated four buggies, but demand outstripped supply. We’ve gone for the petrol-engined E-Z-GO TXT golf car on the basis of their reliability and simplicity to maintain. Our core business is haulage and our service technicians can maintain these small petrol engines with ease. The golf cars are an important factor in the atmosphere, ambience and general golfing experience we offer here at The Parc.”
