Four New Products Announced By ETT

28 Mar 2008

A series of major advances in turf nutrition were announced recently at a press conference held jointly between John Keyte, Speciality Products Manager of Yara Ltd and Richard Lawrence, Director of Environmental Turf Technology.

Four new products were announced, these were Safe N and Safe K two liquid formulations which will not scorch however hot the weather is. These products have been tested to 45 degrees. Richard Lawrence commented “as the leading supplier to the turf industry in the Middle East we have had an excellent opportunity to test this product in the harshest of all turf environments and are delighted with the results. This product will be of great benefit to Turf Managers throughout the world; frequently warm summers throughout Europe mean limited options for Turf Managers. These products, at the cutting edge of technology will ensure the Course Managers can continue to provide the optimum benefits to ensure plant health whatever the conditions”

Also launched were Carbon Fite High N (20-0-10) and Carbon Fite Low N (4-12-12) these products contain all the acknowledged benefits of carbon which not only benefits the plant but also improves the rootzone by increasing the cec, the measure of the rootzones ability to store nutrients, this added benefit ensures better value from all fertilisers applied, it also helps to protect the environment by reducing leaching through the soil.

In his closing words at the conference John Keyte commented that “following on from our recent development of the Pholexed products, the worlds first biodegradable chelates these new products demonstrate the commitment of both Yara and ETT to continue to develop specialised products for the turf industry that will benefit the turf, the Course Managers and the environment”.
