The STRI is running another FACTS turf certified training course at Bingley in September following a successful first staging in February.

The 5-day course, which runs from September 22-26, has been created by BASIS specifically for the sports and amenity sectors and aimed at those providing advice on fertiliser application, The FACTS turf qualification, administered and certified by BASIS, is obtained by evidence of knowledge and understanding of plant nutrition, fertiliser types, environmental issues and legislation. It is a national qualification providing holders with a Certificate of Competence and membership of the BASIS Professional Register and FACTS Annual Scheme.
