Gardens & Landscape Manager
About The Role
Leicester City Football Club are seeking a Garden and Landscape Manager to help the grounds department maintain its soft and hard landscaped areas to an exceptionally high standard including the implementation of planting schemes, mowing regimes and general care for planting shrubs across the Clubs sites including the King Power Stadium and Seagrave and Belvoir Drive Training Grounds.
Reporting into the Senior Sports Turf & Grounds Manager, the main duties of this role will include managing a team of landscapers / gardeners including planning their day-to-day work duties. You will be responsible for the upkeep and implementation of planting schemes and projects relating to off pitch areas and horticultural specific work. General duties will also include hedge trimming, weeding, planting, watering and maintenance of the Clubs off pitch areas.
Who We’re Looking For
The ideal candidate will have significant managerial experience within the industry or a similar role, with a positive, pro-active, and engaged approach to both the job and the management of people within the team. It is essential that the successful candidate be flexible, have excellent attention to detail, and a willingness to drive performance and continuous improvement ideas. The successful candidate will also possess a relevant qualification at Level 3 standard or above, in addition to PA1, PA2 and PA6 spraying qualifications,

Gardens & Landscapes Operative
About The Role
Based at Leicester City’s new world class training ground, the Gardens & Landscapes Operative role will work within the Sports Turf and Grounds Team, reporting into the Gardens & Landscapes Manager. The postholder will be responsible for helping the grounds department maintain its off-pitch areas to an exceptionally high standard, with duties including hedge trimming, weeding, planting, watering and maintenance of borders and planted areas.
Who We’re Looking For
The ideal candidate will hold a minimum of an NVQ Level 2 in Horticultural Studies or a similar equivalent, as well as a PA1, and PA6 qualification in the safe use of pesticides and spraying. They will have the ability to work as part of a team but also be able to operate on their own, with a positive and proactive approach, and showing good initiative.
Working under the guidance of the Gardens and Landscapes Manger, the ideal candidate will have exceptional interpersonal skills with a focus on team ethics, high standards, and attention to detail.
