Pellenc UK Launch A Success

30 Apr 2010

Etesia UK, the recently appointed Pellenc distributors for the UK and Eire, have recently held a series of successful dealer demonstration days at Hartpury College in Gloustershire, Myerscough College in Lancashire and Shuttleworth College in Bedfordshire.

Over one hundred specially invited guests from both existing and potentially new Etesia dealers across the country attended the event, which enabled Etesia President Patrick Vives, Etesia UK General Manager Les Malin and Alain Pondant, Pellenc’s Director of Green Technology Division to introduce their team and allow the guests to test a wide range of equipment from the French manufacturers.

Patrick Vives welcomed the guests and then gave a short presentation highlighting the Etesia organisation and a brief history of the company, before handing over to Alain Pondant to give guests an insight to the Pellenc brand and the products available to the UK market along with the advantages of owning the environmentally friendly lithium-ion battery powered tools aimed at local authorities and commercial end users.

This was followed by Les Malin’s introduction of his team and expectations for the Pellenc brand, then it was out onto the respective college’s grounds, where the guests were able to see first-hand the advantages of the Pellenc tools and to test a variety of chainsaws, polesaws, hedge trimmers and pruning shears.

Commenting at the close of the third event Les Malin said, “We were absolutely delighted with the high turnout of dealers from across the country. The three days were the perfect platform to introduce the Pellenc brand and products to a number of significant dealers, while at the same time showing them the advantages of the lithium-ion battery powered chainsaws, polesaws, hedge trimmers and pruning shears compared to the more conventional 2-stroke petrol alternatives.”
