Hats Off To Otterbine!

31 Jan 2011

Trilby Tour venue benefits from Otterbine fountain

Buckinghamshire Golf Club in Denham is reaping the benefits of a recently installed Otterbine aerating fountain.

Pictured here during the William Hunt Trilby Tour 2010 finals hosted by the club in August last year, the 5hp Gemini fountain installed by Topturf Irrigation is the focal point of the 8th hole’s picturesque lake.

Simon Graham, course manager of the 18-hole John Jacobs designed course, says that the fountain has a purely aesthetic function. “The Otterbine was chosen for aesthetic reasons, though it does also help to keep the water oxygenated and healthy,” he explains. “It’s very popular with members and guests alike.”

For more information on Otterbine’s range of aerating fountains and how they can help improve water quality, contact distributor Lely UK on 01480 226848 or email otterbine.uk@lely.com to request a free leaflet on the benefits of aeration, ‘It’s Never Too Late To Aerate’. Alternatively, visit www.otterbine.com.
