An FL34 from INFINICUT® has been described as a ‘world class machine’ following its installation at The CalForth Construction Arena, home of Dundee United Football Club. Groundsman Jamie Harle took a look at the machine on the back of glowing reviews and recommendations and – with an INFINICUT® of his own in the shed since April 2025 – the cut quality, striping ability and user-friendly operation he’s achieving via the InfiniApp™ are already living up to the hype!

Having initially cut his teeth as a matchday volunteer at The CalForth Construction Arena, Jamie is now completing his qualifications in conjunction with being in sole control of the stadium surface since July last year. “There’s been much to learn but I’m hugely thankful to the club for investing in me and supporting me with the equipment we need to take our pitch to the next level.”  

He explains, “Our previous cylinder mower was in need for renewal, so I did some research and spoke to some other grounds managers for their recommendations. The INFINICUT® came up time and time again so I organised a demonstration via Mike Lindsay at Fairways GM and I was completely blown away.”

Jamie adds that the FL34 will be used daily during the main playing and growing season. “I’ve really enjoyed using it since it arrived and I now can’t wait to see what can be achieved when renovations are complete and we go full steam ahead into preparations for the new season.”
