The Education Sector Knowledge Lab moves to Haileybury School for 2026
Turf Business is excited to announce the return of the Education Sector Knowledge Lab on Wednesday 22nd July 2026, this time at the prestigious Haileybury School.
After three successful years at the esteemed Eton College, Turf Business, with the help of the Knowledge Lab Committee, has made the exciting decision to move the location of the now well established event. Looking to broaden perspectives, showcase a wider variety of facilities, and bring fresh inspiration to the one day event, the backdrop for 22nd July 2026 will be the lush landscapes of Hertfordshire.
2025’s event saw the highest number of delegates return to Eton College, for an agenda of professional networking, display areas, presentations and a Q&A session with a panel of industry experts. 2026’s event will continue with the same successful approach, bringing together turfcare professionals from the education sector to strengthen relationships, share expertise and build a more collaborative and informed industry sector.
Haileybury School offers a diverse range of high-quality sports turf surfaces and facilities, set against striking 19th century architecture. Andy Richards, Grounds Manager at Haileybury, has been an integral part of the event since its formation, and is now looking forward to welcoming the event to his own site.
Lee Marshallsay, Grounds Manager at Eton College is looking forward to the event taking the next step, in a different location. “It’s been fantastic to host the Knowledge Lab for the last 3 years, the event has grown year on year and is now a key event for the educational sector. From the birth of the event coming out of Turf Business Summit, to seeing it grow at Eton to now pass on to Haileybury should be something all the stakeholders, sponsors and supporters should all be proud of.”
The Knowledge Lab has grown from strength to strength in its four years of events, bringing together industry professionals to share knowledge, interact with new products and machines and learn from industry experts. Turf Business looks forward to taking the next step in its progression, welcoming a new location, and in turn new delegates, new workshop discussions and new conversations.
Turf Business will be releasing further details on the 2026 Knowledge Lab in due time, but until then, if you work in turfcare in the education sector, make sure 22nd July is marked firmly in your calendars!
