Toro has made no less than 18 upgrades to its former GreensPro 1200 greens roller and launched a new model, the GreensPro 1240, at BTME. It takes greens rolling to another level, says the company.

The machine’s offset smoothing roller design delivers unmatched roll consistency for exceptionally smooth putting surfaces, as well as a uniform greens appearance and playability. Added to this, independent, articulating smoothing heads follow undulations, preserving natural contours. 

The operator platform is fully adjustable for unmatched comfort and safety. While the unit is surprisingly simple to manoeuvre. 

Added to this, Toro has made the conversion from machine to roller effortless thanks to a new, innovative wheel caddy system. What’s more, there’s a new transport system, too. This features a ‘QuickLatch’ coupler that makes transporting the GreensPro 1240 from green to green very quick and simple.  

Lely showcased its latest PREMA machine – a Toro Reelmaster 5410-D fairway mower – at BTME to illustrate the high quality of equipment that’s available to clubs wanting to buy pre-owned Toro turf machinery or TYM compact tractors that are technically as good as new, at affordable prices. The scheme was launched last summer.
