The Small Plough With A Big Attitude

2 Sep 2011

Stand DAA04

Hand shovelling snow can be a break breaking bore. Ploughing driveways and car parks in a full size truck or tractor with a three metre plough can be a challenge. That’s why we engineered the Meyer® Drive Pro™ to be a lightweight, commercial-grade snow plough designed to provide optimal manoeuvrability in tight business, municipal or residential settings. The Drive Pro is strong in the right places and made with the same heavy-duty rams and hydraulic system as our full-sized ploughs.

At Meyer, we understand what it’s like when you have to get all your contracts cleared in the next four hours. We know that every minute counts. That’s why all Meyer snow ploughs are designed to clear more snow than any other on the market. Our taller, more aggressive mouldboards with more curvature, scrape the surface completely on each pass, eliminating the need to go over the same area again and again. It’s in every snow plough we make. It’s the reason why Meyer snow ploughs perform better than any other on the market.

Easy On/Off for just one person
The Meyer DrivePro fits most 4x4s and light trucks with the exclusive and matchless mounting system that one person can operate. When dismounted, the mounting bracket leaves the front of your vehicle with a clean, neat appearance. The plug-n-plough system is integrated into the lift frame and attaches or detaches the plough in seconds, without tools, meaning you won’t freeze.

Patented auto-angling
Only the DrivePro comes with Auto Angling that automatically positions the snow plough to optimise performance. Auto Angling allows the operator to keep eyes on the road and provides safer operation. There is no need to leave the vehicle to angle the snow plough. Auto Angling works by sensing which side of the plough is gathering most snow and angles the plough in that direction.

Heavy-Duty Trip Springs
Automatic ‘tripping’ – protects the blade and vehicle from damage and the driver from injury. Heavier gauge and more efficient design of the trip spring system yield the longest service life in the industry.

Paint that Improves Performance
All steel mouldboards feature our DURA-SLICK Paint System with Teflon® baked onto the steel. It improves durability and provides better snow rolling action.

Power lift and drop
Only Meyer offer powered lift and lower and angling at the touch of a button from the comfort of the driver’s seat.
