We caught up with Head Groundsman Karl McDermott following a stressful start to his week, facing a huge rain storm and flood at Lord’s on Monday evening, of which was the worst he’d ever seen. He talked us through how with some hard work and excellent drainage, the ground was ready for play again the very next day!
