Education Sector Knowledge Lab finds success at Haileybury
The Education Sector Knowledge Lab returned for 2026, this time in an exciting new venue- Haileybury School.
Steeped in history, the iconic venue came alive with over 100 groundscare professionals taking part in the annual one day event. Attendees were able to visit company stands, getting a closer look at a whole range of products, from robotic line markers to wetting agents and everything in between.
Alongside all of the products on display, attendees participated an afternoon of educational presentations from industry professionals. Christian Brain, Head groundsman at Cheltenham College, Martin Maytum, Head groundsman at Harlequins Rugby Club and Gary Barwell, Head of Sports Turf and Grounds at Warwickshire County Cricket Club, all provided valuable insights across their specialities and later took part in a Q&A panel. Joining them on the panel were: incoming GMA CEO Jason Booth, Haileybury CFOO Hannah Young and Haileybury Head Groundsman Andy Richards.
Turf Business would like to thank Haileybury School and Any Richards and team for hosting the event, as well as all of the sponsors for making the event possible.
There will be much more to come on the success of the event in the following weeks
