A rare and exciting opportunity has arisen to join our award-winning team of ground staff at the prestigious Devonshire Park International Tennis Centre in Eastbourne.

We are currently seeking a dedicated Groundsperson to contribute to the maintenance and preparation of our world-class sports turf.

While it would be desirable for the successful candidate to have an NVQ Level 2 qualification or equivalent, previous experience in the sports turf industry is highly advantageous. However, we value passion and a willingness to learn just as much as qualifications.

As Eastbourne Borough Council is committed to achieving net zero carbon emissions, an interest in the environment and sustainability is equally important. As a Groundsperson, you will have the exciting opportunity to be part of the team responsible for preparing the grounds for an international tennis event that is broadcast worldwide.

Attention to detail is crucial in ensuring our facilities meet the highest standards.

A current full driving licence would be advantageous for this role.
