Successful Turf Business Focus Group at The Grove
The Turf Business Summit campaign for 2026 officially got underway on 26th May with the first of two Focus Groups.
On the backdrop of one of the UK’s most prestigious golf courses, on the hottest day of the year, the event brought together industry professionals from all sectors of turfcare to determine the most important issues facing the industry.
The workshop allowed attendees to raise the issues they face in their role, as well as raise any problems they believe may impact the industry currently, and in the future.
Alongside the industry discussion attendees took part in a tour of The Grove’s golf facilities, including the new state of the art The Kingdom, which includes a dedicated putting studio and new driving range and short game.
The results and discussion points collected at this Focus Group will be combined with the results of the second Focus Group and the State of the Nation survey to create the most relevant and up to date agenda for the Turf Business Summit.
Turf Business would like to extend their thanks to Sam Reid and The Grove for facilitating the event, and taking the time for such a well guided facilities tour. As well as the event sponsors, who’s continued support makes these events possible, working towards an improved industry for all those within it.
If you weren’t able to attend The Grove but would like to have your say on the industry, scan the QR code to complete the State of the Nation survey. All eligible participants will be entered into a prize draw to win a place at the Turf Business Summit, taking place in Madrid.
