The Turf Business Summit returns to Madrid

The Turf Business Summit returns to Madrid

12 Mar 2026

Turf Business is excited to announce that 2026 will see the Turf Business Summit return to the city where the event found its roots, the city that held the first ever Turf Business Summit. Madrid.

2018 saw the Turf Business Summit launch at the infamous home of Real Madrid, the Bernabéu, with then Director of Grounds and Environment, Paul Burgess playing a pivotal role in the creation of the Summit.

But Real Madrid isn’t the only top-flight football clubs based in Madrid, and Turf Business is delighted to bring the Summit to Atlético Madrid, for another state of the art, behind the scenes facilities tour.

Once again, the backdrop to the event will be the luxury five star Hotel Puerta América, boasting an award winning concept that brought together nineteen of the best architects and designers in the world. Each of the hotel’s floors have been designed by a different architect or designer, setting the 2026 Summit in a creative and innovative hub.

As with every year, the Summit will focus on the most relevant issues facing the turfcare industry, bringing together over 100 senior industry professionals and providing a platform to discuss improving the industry for all those involved.

The event is being held on 21-23rd September, with hand selected delegates beginning to receive invitations soon.
