Club Car helps set the standard at Rock Golf

Club Car helps set the standard at Rock Golf

13 Aug 2026

Rock Golf in Finland, one of the most exciting new golf venues in Europe, has praised the quality of its Club Car® golf fleet during its first full season.

The stunning 9-hole par-3 venue, 26 miles west of Helsinki, opened in June 2025 and offers a ‘more social, fun and faster golf experience’. It is aiming to become the best par-3 course in the world.

Club Car, a global industry-leading manufacturer of small-wheel, zero-emissions electric vehicles, has supplied 26 Tempo golf carts, complete with Connect technology and Visage screens, premium seats and customised paintwork.

Andrea Nyman, CEO of Rock Golf, said: “Rock Golf is very different from your traditional golf club. We are a pay-and-play facility, focused on creating fun, accessible and memorable golf experiences.

“The majority of our business comes from corporate golf days, so the ability to control where the carts go using GPS technology is essential to protect our course – for example, during wet conditions we can restrict them to the paths.

“We can display live leaderboards and adverts on the screens in the vehicles, which is great for golf days and societies. Our customers are consistently impressed by the quality and technology of the carts.”

Rock Golf is part of Pickala Rock Resort, a unique residential area in the beautiful natural setting of southern Finland, offering luxury living. The Lassi Pekka Tilander-designed golf course and its modern clubhouse are at the heart of the resort, with apartments, houses and plots nestled among the surrounding forest.

Andrew Bourke, Club Car Regional Sales Manager for UK, Ireland and Scandinavia, said: “Rock Golf is unlike anything we’ve worked with before. Every aspect of the venue is of the highest quality, so it speaks volumes that they have chosen Club Car to supply their golf vehicles.

“People may ask why a par-3 course needs golf carts, but they simply add to the fun and the overall experience. You can get round in an hour and a half, so it’s proving very popular with people who want to play golf but are short on time.”

The innovative Club Car Tempo is the chosen golf vehicle of many of the top clubs, courses and resorts around the world.

It delivers outstanding hill-climbing power and acceleration, and has many customisable options including colour, seats, storage, wheels and programmable drive modes to maximise performance.
