Finance Tops Saltex Bill

30 Aug 2007

The ever-increasing importance of finance arrangements in acquiring and looking after valuable turf machinery is reflected strongly on the Toro stand at Saltex this September. They announced as many as three new schemes at the show – from Toro Protection Plus, and a new purchase finance deal, to a new scheme for those who prefer to hire rather than buy their equipment.

Toro Protection Plus is a brand new introduction that provides extended protection for commercial products beyond Toro’s industry-leading standard two-year warranty. The costs can be built into customers’ budgets to help them stay on-budget and avoid unexpected repair costs resulting from the failure of a defective part or assembly. It can cover new and pre-owned machinery, subject to it having been fitted with genuine Toro spare parts.

Toro Triple Finance is a new purchase scheme available on new products ordered before 20 October this year – with nothing to pay until April 2008. It gives buyers complete flexibility over how they pay for new machinery. The scheme offers three payment options to suit customers’ individual budgets – either settlement in full, or three annual payments, or 36 monthly instalments.

The third scheme is a new Operating Lease arrangement which can include maintenance, for those customers who prefer the machinery hire route to outright purchase and ownership.

Toro is launching two new tractor-mounted ProCore aerators at Saltex. The new ProCore 864 and 1298 are exceptionally productive and are quicker, quieter and smoother in operation than the old 660 and 880 they have replaced. The company is also announcing that as from September its Reelmaster 6000 fairway mowers will come fitted as standard with its innovative Dual Precision Adjustment (DPA) cutting units, which simplify cutting height adjustment and ensure a cleaner cut.
