Monkton has an exciting opportunity for an accomplished and motivated professional Grounds and
Gardens Manager to lead our small but exceptional team. Reporting to the Head of Operations, you will
primarily be responsible for the upkeep of a multiplicity of grass sports pitches, mainly used for Rugby,
Cricket, Tennis and Athletics. As well as the grass pitches we also have two high quality Astro turf pitches
used for Hockey and Tennis which require regular maintenance.

In addition, the successful candidate will come with strong supervisory and team management experience
and will as part of the wider team ensure, together with the Assistant Gardens Manager and Assistant
Ground Manager, with a pride and passion for ensuring the schools beautiful gardens, gardens and
excellent sports pitches are maintained and presented to an exceptional standard throughout the year.
They will have a vision for the landscape of the estates and will lead and drive the team to deliver the
vision.
