Lely to debut three Toro machines at BTME 2016
Three Toro machines will debut on the Lely – Partners in Turfcare stand at the BIGGA Turf Management Exhibition (BTME) 2016, Europe’s leading showcase for turf professionals and buyers.
Brand new to market is the Toro Workman GTX. Compared to other mid-duty utility vehicles, the GTX has more power and improved steering, plus an exclusive suspension and braking system, which makes it, says Lely, the most versatile, practical and comfortable in its class.
Already being dubbed the next generation of utility vehicle, Jeff Anguige, national sales manager at Lely, comments: “Available in petrol or electric versions, the adaptable Workman GTX features over 300 configuration options, including front and rear attachments, a flat bed and a four-seat option.”
Also debuting at the show and headlining a wide range of energy efficient Toro mowers is the Reelmaster 5010-H, with patented PowerMatch technology. Jeff says the 5010-H is the first true hybrid fairway mower available on the market: “The engine in the 5010-H provides all the power needed for typical mowing and what’s left goes back into the batteries. This saved energy can then be released another time to cope with more demanding conditions such as gradual slopes and inclines.”
The Greenmaster TriFlex Hybrid 3420, designed to take precision cutting on a hybrid mower to a completely new level and the Greensmaster eFlex 2100, the quietly precise electric walk mower, complete the energy efficient line-up.
Also coming along to the show are the Groundsmaster 4500-D rough mower and both the Greensmaster 1600 and 1000. Along with the MultiPro 1750 – Toro’s 175-gallon dedicated vehicle sprayer – a ProCore SR72 will represent Toro’s aeration range, while the compact T503 tractor with front loader attachment will be representing the TYM range, exclusively distributed in the UK by Lely.
Irrigation-wise, there will be a full suite of Toro products on display, including the Lynx Control System, a range of rotors and sprinklers, and the Turf Guard sensors, which instantly track soil moisture, salinity and temperature. Golf course pond and lake management specialist Otterbine will be on stand with a range of its aerators, too.
“We’re looking forward to welcoming turf professionals to our stand in Hall M where we’ll be ready to advise on products both new and well-known,” concludes Jeff.
