Metrac Reaches Fifty
Reform Werke are currently celebrating 50 years of production of their Metrac bank tractor. Between 1965 and the present day a series of new models and technical developments have combined to make the Metrac the leader in its field, serving the professional contractor, local authority and golf sectors.
Fifty years after the launch of the first two-axle mower model, the Reform 2000, the company now offers an unparalleled six model range with mechanical gearboxes and seven models with hydrostatic drive, starting with the entry level 44hp models G3 / G3 X up to the new H8 X with 81.5 hp
Simon Richard UK Agent for the Reform range says: “The Reform Metrac specialist bank tractor has evolved to become the number one choice for the widest range of grounds maintenance tasks, including working in difficult locations where alternative equipment is often not fit for purpose or an operative is in a potentially unsafe working environment.
“Metrac delivers optimum performance on slopes at up to 45 degrees but is also a proven year round machine for a whole range of other work. The H7 RX has by far the largest lift capacity in its class. Both the front and rear linkages lift an unbeatable 1500kg with a maximum gross vehicle weight of 3800kg allowing safe and efficient work with numerous attachments.”
