Quality matters at BTME 2016 for The Grass Group
The Grass Group is always striving to provide the best service and quality for it’s customers and aims to raise the bar again at BTME 2016
ATT continues to be one step ahead with their walk behind INFiNiSystem. As the world moves towards sustainability the Lithium battery module is a welcome addition. Lighter, able to mow 18 golf greens and with a longer life span of at least 1500 charge cycles, the Lithium battery boasts many advantages over petrol engine machines. It also has unprecedented financial benefits costing just 50p a charge!
Remaining a cut above the rest, ATT’s TMSystem 7, 11 and 14 blade cutting cylinders achieve exceptional quality with their non-contact cut and locked in cassette system. The height of cut ranges from 1.7mm to 40mm with the height-click adjuster, allowing a change in height of 0.1mm increments without needing any tools to adjust. If that wasn’t enough you can have even more precision by adjusting the bedknife to reel set up by 0.028mm via the click system. All this with easy maintenance and high quality engineering. Isn’t it time you looked at upgrading?
If puffiness and thatch are plaguing your greens then look no further than the SMARTUltragroomer. It minimises puffiness in high density creeping bent and Bermuda grasses; therefore, reducing scalping and foot-printing. It removes seeds heads in poa annua turf and reduces ingress by “grabbing” the individual poa plants. It allows the growth of healthy grass and a consistent greens speed. It is a preventative measure to avoid costly cures such as fraise mowing.
CTI turf tines and bedknives are manufactured to the highest quality and are competitively priced for John Deere, Toro and Jacobsen machines. The range includes fairway, coring, solid and vent tines made out of 4140 steel construction. Also available are phoenix tines, forged in fire for a tighter cell construction, last as long if not longer than carbide tines. New for BTME 2016, Phoenix bedknives are also now available with their long lasting increased hardness. They can hold an edge longer particularly during significant topdressing periods.
With the new updated Progressive Proflex 120b the grass will always be greener than the other side. The introduction of lift and turn increases efficiency alongside the five standard independent decks. Updates for this coming season include rubber dampened belt tensioners and 25% less grease points than previous models as well as now being fitted with maintenance free blade spindles as standard. There’s a final twist to this year’s model as it’s now available in a green paint finish as well as the standard red, which we’re sure will appeal to the fans of green machines!
Twenty-five years of experience has taught The Grass Group that quality matters. With machines for every season of the year, there’s something for everyone in Hall A at stand A35.
