A Quick Trim ….

30 Sep 2010

With just a few minutes practice with the TAS Trimmer, the presentation and maintenance of irrigation heads is improved and made simple. This simple, strimmer mounted blade makes light work of trimming around all makes and sizes of pop-ups, sprinkler heads and valve boxes.

The better and clearer presentation of heads can speed up play, where they are used as yardage markers and improve golfer safety. Injury claims caused through golfers tripping or stumbling over irrigation heads and valve covers that have become ‘hidden’ by grass and lack of maintenance are a thing of the past, because there is now a fast and cost effective solution.

Regular use of the blade cuts down on breakdowns caused by debris contamination and can extend component life. The blade mounts simply and quickly to most makes of straight shaft strimmer or brushcutter, just like a brush blade.

The ‘TAS’ has been specifically designed by an US based irrigation contractor to clean out growth from pop-up and rotary sprinkler heads, control valve covers, drain covers, donut protectors and up to 10” diameter markers. With regular use a blade life will on average be 1,500 – 2,000 heads. With blade prices starting from just £23.00 (+ vat) the TAS is an economical solution to enhanced sprinkler head presentation, safety and maintenance.

The TAS Trimmer is distributed in the UK by JSM Distribution.
