Successful return of the Knowledge Lab for 2025
In the most popularly attended event to date, 9th June saw the event return for a fourth year at the prestigious Eton College. Seeing delegates arrived from across the UK, the carefully tailored event gives a platform to turfcare professionals working within the education sector.
Similarly to the previous years, 2025 saw attendees met with a schedule of workshops and presentations, a q&a session and a tour of Eton College’s prestigious grounds.
Andy Mackay presented an engaging and informative presentation on cricket fields and pitches, alongside a focus on sustainability and water usage from ESI’s Tony Hanson.
The event was rounded off with a presentation by Eton’s Grounds manager Lee Marshallsay on what it takes to manage the grounds of the infamous college as well as a Q&A with a panel of industry experts.
The panel was made up of: Geoff Webb from The GMA, Lee Marshallsay of Eton College, The Belfry’s Anna Nilsson, Leicester City’s Callum Allsop, ECB’s Andy Mackay and Myerscough College’s Wes Johnson.
Turf Business is delighted with the outcome of the event and is excited to watch the initiative grow in the coming years.
