Thirteen high-quality John Deere machines for Minchinhampton Golf Club

8 Sep 2025

Tallis Amos Group (TAG) is proud to announce the recent supply of thirteen high-quality John Deere professional groundcare machines to Minchinhampton Golf Club, one of the Cotswolds’ premier golf venues.

Following the success of their 2020 John Deere fleet purchase, Minchinhampton Golf Club had no hesitation in turning to TAG once again for reliable, high-performance machinery and trusted support. Tailored to meet the needs of the golf club greenkeeping team the new machinery equips them for maintaining the club’s renowned premier playing surfaces. “We’re delighted to continue working with Minchinhampton Golf Club,” said Alex Jones, Group Golf Sales Manager at TAG. “Minchinhampton Golf Club takes great pride in the  immaculate presentation of its courses, and we’re pleased they can maintain their high standard of fairways and greens with a new fleet of reliable, high-performance John Deere machinery.”

John Stewart, Courses Manager said, ‘The decision to repurchase with TAG was driven by the durability of the machines and their back up support. The new machinery was selected not only for its exceptional performance but because the club has received outstanding Aftersales support provided by TAG’s team of fully manufacturer-trained technicians.’ The sale forms part of TAG’s ongoing commitment to supporting local clubs and professionals on expert groundcare. Tailored to meet the needs of the golf club’s greenkeeping team the equipment supplied includes four John Deere 6500A-E Lightweight Fairway Mowers to efficiently maintain superior turf quality, three John Deere 2750E Triplex Greens Mowers to ensure and even cut on undulating terrain, three John Deere HPX815E Gators for heavy- duty work and off-road performance over the golf courses, plus a John Deere 2030A ProGator with HD200 Sprayer and convertible 4.6/6.4 m (15/21 ft) boom and a John Deere Z994R Zero Turn Mower for a precise cut, ease of manoeuvrability and operator comfort.

“The new kit has already made a difference, our seventeen green keepers rely on a robust, cutting-edge fleet and we are really impressed by the customer service and backup from the team at TAG. They are always there when we need them and now, we have the added benefit of the John Deere Operations Centre for ease of management and improved efficiency, saving time and costs.’ says John.

John Deere’s precision technology is the future for turf equipment. The club is moving towards smarter turf management, all the cutting machines at Minchinhampton are installed with JDLink for telematics information giving real-time location data, along with information on fuel consumption and machine usage so that the club can easily monitor and compare fleet performance, plan and analyse operational data at any time through John Deere’s connected support Operations Centre app on desktop or mobile, making informed data driven decisions for maximum uptime.

TAG has a strong reputation for quality service and technical knowledge across The Midlands and Wales and as an approved dealer for premium machinery and brands the business offers everything required for professional groundcare.
