Two New Articulators For Saltex

30 Aug 2007

Two new versions of Lastec’s renowned Articulator make their debut at Saltex – the 721XF and the 521EH. Both are designed as out-front, PTO-driven mowers offering exceptional accuracy and significant cost savings.

Lastec’s flagship Articulator model, the 721, is now available in a configuration that places it in front of a tractor instead of the rear mounted location of the mower since its introduction in 1990. The 721XF offers the time-proven dependability and accuracy of the company’s most popular model along with greater visibility when cutting challenging turf. The 721XF gives eleven feet of cutting productivity with the accuracy of seven 21″ push mowers, in a configuration preferred by many turf professionals.

The 521EH delivers more than 8ft of cutting width, utilising five 21″ fully articulating rotary decks – the only mower of its type in the world.
Both models can be mounted to a variety of manufacturers’ traction units. Keith Elliment, European sales director for Lastec UK, said: “Both these new models are highly accurate and very versatile. When combined with a multi-function tractor, they offer valuable cost savings in comparison to dedicated wide-area mowers.”
