Skilled Sports Turf and Grounds Operative
Working under the guidance of the Pitch Manager the ideal candidate will have exceptional interpersonal skills with a focus on team ethics and high standards.
Who We’re Looking For
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years’ experience working in a similar role, have an NVQ Level 2 in Sports Turf (or equivalent) and PA1, PA2 and PA6 qualifications. This role is active and physical, with tasks including pedestrian and ride-on mowing, line marking, strimming, and all forms of pitch preparation and repair. Responsibilities are not limited to the Club’s pitches, with horticultural work required in the surrounding areas across the Club’s sites, along with the cleaning and maintenance of machinery, tools and equipment.
The ideal candidate will also be reliable, have the ability to multi-task, perform under pressure, and have a high level of attention to detail. Additionally, the role requires flexibility, as the Sports Turf and Grounds team may be required to work evenings and weekends when required (five days over seven).

Gardens and Landscapes Operative
The postholder will be responsible for helping the grounds department maintain its off-pitch areas to an exceptionally high standard, with duties including hedge trimming, weeding, planting, watering and maintenance of borders and planted areas.
Who We’re Looking For
The ideal candidate will hold a minimum of an NVQ Level 2 in Horticultural Studies or a similar equivalent, as well as a PA1 and PA6 qualification in the safe use of pesticides and spraying. They will have the ability to work as part of a team but also be able to operate on their own, with a positive and proactive approach, and showing good initiative.
