David Sturges Appointed VP Of Ariens International
Due to the continued expansion of Ariens Company, David Sturges, Managing Director of Countax Limited, has been appointed Vice President of Ariens International. Covering the Ariens lawn and garden, snow and Gravely commercial products, David will also continue to manage the business operations of Countax.
Ariens Company is a leading manufacturer of outdoor power equipment for both consumer and professional use. The privately-owned and operated company is currently in its fourth-generation of Ariens family leadership and has recently celebrated its 80th anniversary. The Ariens International side of the company is focused on markets outside of the Americas and Australasia.David’s primary objective will be to grow Ariens international business. This will be achieved, in part, by developing strong international product management, product development, marketing, sales and customer service capabilities in Europe. There will be further expansion of the Ariens international team to help improve processes, delivery and product quality for distributors, dealers and end line customers. David Surges.
David joined Ariens Company in February 2011 as Managing Director of Countax Limited. He has over 20 years’ experience in the outdoor power equipment industry. He worked his way up in various leadership positions, including; Mechanical Design Engineer, International Sales Manager and Sales and Marketing Director.
David has a BSc (Hons) degree in Agricultural Technology & Management and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree, both from Cranfield University.
