Winter conditions bring extra work in clearing snow and ice to make areas safer and accessible. Large areas can be quickly treated with big, vehicle mounted hopper spreaders but what about those tight, hard to treat pedestrian walkways, paths and precincts?

Areas that are really hard to get to even with an ATV or utility vehicle can be made safer using the new Wessex WSS-20 Pedestrian Spreader. It’s the ideal tool for spreading rock salt or granular material in both commercial and domestic applications.

Featuring a big, 20 litre hopper, a height adjustable handle and the ability to spread to 4m, the WSS-20 will grit pathways, building entrances, public areas, drives, anywhere where it’s a tight squeeze for larger spreaders.

What sets the WSS-20 apart is that it has a patented offset agitator which enables it to spread damp British rock salt, so you can apply salt in all conditions.

All of which makes the WSS-20 the perfect and quick solution for Health and Safety compliance, making hazardous snow and icy areas safer and reducing the risk of accidents.
