Premium Solution For World Cup From Garside Sands

Premium Solution For World Cup From Garside Sands

20 Nov 2015

Garside Sands, part of Aggregate Industries, provided a sporting hand to clubs up and down the country, supplying its premium 2EW specialist sports sand for pitch upgrades ahead of the Rugby World Cup.

With the world watching, clubs were keen to put their best pitch forward ahead of the international tournament, and turned to the experience and expertise offered by Garside Sand to supply a premium solution.

2EW sand – a dried silica sports sand – was supplied to clubs including Twickenham, Leicester City and Brighton & Hove Albion.

Clive Martin, Commercial Manager at Garside Sands comments: “Major sports pitch contractors use our dried silica sports sands in the construction and maintenance of both traditional and 3G synthetic pitches for many sports.

“Our 2EW sand is a premium option and is an ideal choice for facilities hosting teams playing at the very top of their game. The range of packaging and delivery or collection options also means we can fulfil any size order, anywhere in the country. This has proved particularly useful for this tournament, which will see games hosted at clubs across the Midlands and southern England.”

2EW specialist silica sand is a premium carpet dressing and infill sand supplied direct from Aggregate Industries’ Garside Sands operation in Leighton Buzzard. It is ideal for use in sports and leisure facilities.
