Latest MF Compact Proves A Versatile All-Rounder
One of the newest additions to Massey Ferguson’s 1500 Series tractor range is proving a cost-effective investment for a wide variety of owners and operators requiring a manoeuvrable and versatile compact tractor with a high power-to-weight ratio.
The 25hp MF 1525H is a great all-rounder, equally suited to mowing, transport and turf maintenance.
Equipped with an economical three cylinder water-cooled diesel engine, the 25hp MF 1525H has a three-range hydrostatic transmission (HST) with cruise control as standard. Twin pedal hydrostatic drive engagement allows easy and seamless selection of working and travelling speeds while enabling also fast changing from forward to reverse, and vice versa.
The MF 1525H features an uprated hydraulic pump delivering 21 litres/min, producing a rear linkage lift capacity of 600kg at the ball ends. Complementing the high-capacity hydraulic system are two auxiliary external valves, both selectable for single- or double-acting operation by simple movement of a lever on the valve.
Equipped with rear and mid power take-offs with independent electro-hydraulic activation, the MF 1525H’s PTO engagement dial is located conveniently on the tractor’s dash panel and offers two different settings. The ‘Off’ position provide normal PTO engagement while the “On” position produces a ‘soft’ start giving steady, progressive engagement of PTO drive, ideal when using high inertia implements or when operating under heavy load conditions.
Users of the MF 1525H will appreciate the spacious and easily-accessible semi-flat operating platform and excellent control layout for optimum driving efficiency and performance. The complete platform, including the dash panel and steering column, is mounted on rubber isolation blocks, helping minimise noise and vibration.
Other driver-friendly features include full hydrostatic steering, twin grab rails and a cup holder. Fitted with a foldable rear ROPS rollbar, the MF 1525H can be specified with either a 1.37m or a 1.52m mid mower deck. A 28 litre fuel tank enables longer working without the need to refuel.
