Toro’s new Infinity Series Sprinkler with Smart Access launched at BTME and is designed to take the headache out of sprinkler maintenance.
The new sprinkler still has all the quality features – increased efficiency, enhanced course appearance and improved playing conditions – for which Toro is renowned. But with the big, added benefit of ‘Smart Access’.
With Smart Access, Toro has designed a sprinkler in which every serviceable element – big or small, mechanical or electrical – is easily accessible from the top of the unit. Therefore sprinkler maintenance has never been easier.
It means an end to digging out the sprinkler for repair and maintenance, and consequent damage to the playing surface and all the time-consuming repair work needed to make good. So Toro believes Infinity will be music to every greenkeeper’s ears!
Distributor Lely UK’s Toro Irrigation sales manager, Robert Jackson, says: “The Infinity Series has the same impressive, proven features as the Toro 800S and DT Series, including an easy arc, true trajectory and ratcheting riser. So performance was never going to be an issue.
“It adds to the mix, though, a focus on maintenance and is designed to take account of the reality of course maintenance. Therefore there’s no more digging, no further damage to the turf and no external components vulnerable to damage.”
Furthermore, nozzle flexibility and the choice between full- or part-circle models provides fast, firm and uniform coverage to greens, surrounds, approaches and fairways, eliminates wet and dry spots and reduces the amount of hand watering required.
Designed with a firm eye on the future, Toro has made all the internal components ‘forwards compatible’. So enhancing the sprinkler with new and improved, or redesigned or upgraded systems and replacement parts over time, is not only possible, but easy, quick and economical. What’s more, everything is backwards compatible, too, for retrofit courses.
Toro really has thought of everything with the Infinity Series – there’s even the option to brand the sprinklers with clubs’ own logos.
