SALTEX: Intelligent One at demonstration area
Rigby Taylor will be showcasing exciting innovations at this years SALTEX, including a new, low invasive approach to sports pitch drainage. Already shown to be highly effective, the ‘Energy-Passive Ground-Water Recharge Pump (EGRP) system will revolutionise the way water can be drained from sports pitches and landscaped surfaces.
Also, the unique Intelligent One automatic GPS controlled line marking robot will have its first commercial launch. Introduced as an industry innovation at last years SALTEX, the I.O has successfully completed an extensive UK field trials programme. Both the EGRP and the I.O can be seen on the outside demonstration plot.
Two new line marking paints will also be launched and the Rigby Taylor staff manning team will be on hand to answer questions on its wide range of seeds, fertiliser, chemicals and speciality products.
A further interest to greenkeepers will be the company’s tank mix programmes against turf diseases. Rigby Taylor has the most comprehensive range of fungicides available and these are complement with TriMate, an adjuvant and foliar ‘sticker’ that allows the fungicide to better adhere to the leaf surface.
Rigby Taylor is the approved supplier of consumable products to the FA Pitch Improvement Programme and visitors at ‘grass roots’ sport pitch level will be able to discuss how they can obtain grants towards improving their pitches.
As always there will be extra surprises on the RT stand and as Headline Sponsors of the IOG Awards and Young Groundsman Conference, it will be a ‘must visit’ stand during the two days of the show.
