Sponsors on board for Party for Perennial
The annual Party for Perennial – on Thursday 19 January in the Garden Room & Conservatory at the Barbican Centre – is a highlight of the calendar for the horticulture industry and thanks to a growing list of sponsors, the 2017 event is set to be better than ever.
Perennial would like to thank the sponsors that have already signed up including CED Stone Group, Bulldog Tools, the HTA, Bulrush, The Landscape Show and Sodexo Horticultural Services, as well as media partner Horticulture Week. Their contribution allows the event to raise as much money as possible to support horticulturists in times of crisis.
Over the last two years, the Party for Perennial has raised over £50,000, kicking off Perennial’s annual HortAid fundraising campaign. Taking place in the beautiful surroundings of the Barbican Centre’s Garden Room & Conservatory, the party will be hosted by popular garden designer and broadcaster, James Alexander-Sinclair. It is an opportunity to join friends and colleagues from across the horticulture industry for a fantastic evening of networking, fun and fundraising.
The ticket price includes a glass of bubbly and delicious bowl food, as well as music, entertainment, auction and raffle. Anita Bates, Director of Marketing and Development at Perennial, said: “The Party for Perennial is one of our biggest fundraising events of the year and the money raised makes a huge difference to the lives of the people we help.
“We really could not put on an event like this without the generosity and support of our wonderful sponsors, so thank you to them all. Please buy your tickets now to make sure the event is as successful as possible.”
An exciting list of prizes for the auction and raffle are also now being confirmed. All funds raised will help support all UK horticulturists, retired and of working age, and their families, who come to Perennial for help. As the only charity that helps individuals from all sectors of the horticulture industry, Perennial’s services are a real lifeline for those in need.
